Laughter Can You Lose Weight

Someone who is doing weight-loss can now try this way as long as that is ruled out with a sense of humor. Researchers have found evidence of a sense of humor that often lead to laughter can burn calories. Compared with the way exercise in a gym or a strict diet, this way is to burn fewer calories. However, U.S. researchers found giggling for 10 to 15 minutes to burn calories by 50 calories. The discovery of weight loss through laughing it was first introduced at the annual congress of obesity in Europe, on Saturday (06/04/2005). Researchers at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, involved 45 participants who are placed in a room that has been decorated and named as the metabolic room. In the room was a TV comedy clips played to find out how many calories the participants that can burn through a laugh. In separate tests conducted on seven male participants, 17 participants were female, and 21 participants were men and women. Maciej Buchowski, a leader who is also director of research at Vanderbilt Bionutrisi said researchers did not tell participants that laughter as the goal of this research. It is feared that if the participants know the purpose of this research will laugh so unnatural not obtained the actual test results. Participants were only informed of this research is to test emotional reactions of various video klips played. The room also specifically designed by the researchers that the results will be taken through how much oxygen is inhaled and how much CO2 they remove. Participants were also measured heart rate and respiration correlated with the energy needed to laugh. Pulse rate, laughing, and breathing and organized information through an instrument and analyzed from second to second. The results obtained turned out when they laugh - while enjoying the clip, calories burned as much as 20% compared with those who did not laugh. Laughing for 10 to 15 minutes a day can burn as many as 50 calories. However, weight and intensity of laughter also affects the burning of calories. Maciej Buchowski concluded laughing for 10 to 15 minutes a day, in a year will burn calories as much as two kilograms as reported by the AP.
